Although the majority of our services are related to EPDM installations and rectification of substandard EPDM / flat roofing work we still, also, undertake traditional leadwork/ lead welding and chimney remedials. Firestone EPDM is a rubber membrane laid in one piece with no seams. Although its manufacturer's warranties are for 20 years we have replaced a number, notably on Trafford College, that failed after 50+ years.No other product offers a manufacturer's warranty or the longevity of Firestone EPDM.Firestone EPDM is a fit and forget seamless system requiring no maintenance, edges are trimmed in colour- fast black uPVC and flashings are in black steel bolted into brickwork with a silicon seal above. No mortar, bituminous liquids or felt to decay and more importantly no flame or heat is required when fitting.Only accredited fitters can provide a watertight firestone warranty for 20 years.Unfortunately, many inferior rubber membranes are flooding the market at present that provides no proper warranty and therefore no protection for the consumer.As an alternative, there are several liquid coatings we can supply and apply ranging from acrylic coatings through to polyurethane liquids and finally a silicone rubber compound.
