DM Roofing & Roughcasting Limited is a family owned construction company specialising in the external refurbishment of buildings across West and Central Scotland. Set up in 1992, we have steadily grown from working on domestic housing to sub-contracting for most major housebuilding and construction companies. Our continued growth has seen DM Roofing & Roughcasting move into the role of main contractor on various prestigious projects throughout Scotland. Whether working on domestic property or a large scale construction project our core values remain the same; quality, workmanship, and a great service. Our skilled lead workers continually produce workmanship of the highest standards. Keeping these disciplines in house allows us to keep tighter controls on quality, programme, and costs which is of benefit to our clients. We are committed to preserving our lead working expertise by teaming our experienced tradesmen with our younger less experienced operatives and apprentices.
A long established relationship with McTaggart & Mickel, Scotland’s foremost housebuilder has seen our in house roof tiling and rendering squads produce the high standard of workmanship that they demand to keep their hard earned reputation as a five star housebuilder intact year after year.
In more recent times we have found that architects and main contractors are looking for a one stop solution to all aspects of external envelope of their projects. This has encouraged us to invest in training and development in our flat roofing division. Our operatives have received training in single ply, liquid plastic, hot melt, and torch applied felt. Allowing us to truly encompass all aspects of the modern roofing industry.
Rendering a property can dramatically improve the appearance of the façade of any building, and we have many examples of projects where we have transformed a variety of buildings using a range of traditional and contemporary render solutions. Render appearance vary in decorative finishes and textures, and insulation can be applied below to improve the “U” value of the property.
