Derwent Roofing Services Ltd has been trading since 1999, fitting only Sarnafil systems. The Directors, Simon Byrne and Scott Henshaw, have 50 years combined experience in the installation of single-ply systems and Simon worked for Sarnafil, for 8 years, as a Field Technician responsible for final inspections and training. All our operatives hold NVQ Level 2, Applied Waterproof Membranes certification and Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) certification and the company is CHAS and Construction Line accredited.

Since March 2007 Derwent Roofing Services Ltd has been on the Sarnafil Roof Management Register. Approximately only 10% of all Sarnafil registered contractors are accepted onto the Roof Management Register, approved to act in a “Main Contractor” capacity on refurbishment projects. Each of the companies has signed the Roof Management Charter, providing the client with a single point responsibility guarantee, covering design, materials and workmanship.

In 2020, Derwent Roofing Services Ltd was the UK’s largest Sarnafil contractor in terms of square meterage – over 40,000m2 of Sarnafil fitted. Nevertheless, we remain a family business, passionate about quality and good service; we aim to build long-term relationships with our customers by providing a competitive, flexible and efficient service.

We are happy to quote for Sarnafil work anywhere in the UK – we currently have contracts in London, Cambridge, Cumbria, Birmingham, Leamington Spa and Nottingham. Although we use Sarnafil single-ply membranes exclusively, we can also quote for associated works such as roof-lights, small amounts of tiling, rain-water goods etc.
