I recommend Shepherd Roofing. Am very glad that I chose them. Old tiles were stripped off and then replaced with new ones over a breathable membrane. New guttering and PVC soffits. The old wooden facia on dormer window was replaced with a PVC one plus its flat roof was renewed. I hadn’t intended replacing my 3 Velux windows but removal of tiles showed the biggest one needed this so did all three. Sourcing new windows of the correct size held things up a bit...as did the weather! Everything, however, got done in the end. Martin, Sandy and James are a great team. Any questions or concerns which I had were immediately addressed. The scaffolding was removed immediately. Great! Very happy. Thank you.

Found leak in roof, phoned Shepherds who came very quickly & supplied advice & quote. The job was completed in a timescale which prevented further internal damage. I had an issue with water leaking into the attic area. i phoned Martin at Shepherd roofing and he attended and identified that the dummy chimney was allowing water in and advised that removal would be the best long term option. Roof & Fibre have just completed a major repair to our old slate roof which was in a much worse condition than originally thought. They also installed air vents, replaced tiles, the ridge along the roof and flashing. Lindsay organised the scaffolding and arranged for a plumber and joiner to carry out extensive work before roofers could start. They were all excellent and turned up on the day and time we were told. He kept us well informed at every stage of the work and his team were all friendly and hard working. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Roof & Fibre if you are looking for a solid, professional and guaranteed job - excellent all round.
